Can you imagine? Number 5 already. Seriously, since 2020 everything seems to be accelerating. Or maybe it’s just because I’m still single and have more time on my hands to filter life. It seems to me that we write more intensely from a point of longing than from a state of loving. Does anyone else ever feel this way?

Don’t get me wrong, I’d truly love to finally focus my words onto one person. Love poems, romance, some semblance of contentment. But that hasn’t happened yet. Writing from retrospect has it’s own value, and also a constantly compounding interest rate of skewed perspectives. But as you know, doors open, and also close, depending on our level of acceptance and sacrifice.

Be that as it may, I’m glad you’re here with me on this journey. If you enjoy my work you will love the writings in this one. It looks awesome thanks to my cover designer Matthew Revert. His design, choice of photos for the interior, and formatting, are always excellent and he’s easy to work with. As with my other books, there’s an underlying story running through each section, and this one is exceptionally intriguing.

There’s a little over 160 poems ranging from love to loss to longing to darkness to light to teenage angst and rage and also about the deception of memory. All wriitten in various styles of rhyme, spoken, and wordplay. The book itself clocks in at a little over 418 pages plus color photos. Love to all, TM
