The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy—but in this book, so do the authors! And though there are several, in the end, there will only be one.

Imagine writing the book of your dreams and discovering those dreams belonged to someone else?

At an exclusive writer’s retreat, a brilliant poet finally has time enough, at last, to re-write his life, revisiting love, loss, abuse, and childhood’s end. Ultimately his book reveals the life he’s revisiting is not entirely his own—a mischievous entity has arrived, transcending time and exposing secrets better left forgotten. Enter a world where nothing is as it seems, fate is in the authors’ hands, and words have the power to speak life into existence or erase it completely.

The past, present, and future are about to crash into a cast of fractured characters propelling them into a world fueled by false memories, love, jealousy, betrayal, madness, and murder. TM DiSarro’s much anticipated first novel is a hybrid of poetry and psychological mystery, creating a story unlike anything you will read. Where time is a concept, death is a doorway, and life is determined by whoever the remaining author is when the story ends.
